Actress Nayanthara is going to celebrate her birthday with her family today in Dubai, where her brother is settled. Nayanthara , who is on a break, wanted to spend her birthday with her little niece whom she dotes on.

Nayanthara’s brother is planning to host a small birthday party for her at the newly opened super luxury resort — Atlantis Hotel on the Palm Jumeirah, a man-made island known as the eighth wonder of the world!

During the last five years, she has celebrated her birthday on the sets of her films. Now, she feels that it is a welcome break that will rejuvenate her and pep up her spirits.

Ask her if she’s moving away from glamorous roles, and she replies, “Why should I? My fans have accepted me in such roles. And it’s not easy to be convincing as a glam girl in films as a lot of hard work goes into it.”

Nayanthara’s last venture in kollywood Billa and Aegan have become Box Office hits and she has became the leading lady in the south indian cinema. On her birthday gift, she says with a smile, “My family always loves to surprise me at the last minute.”

Things inside Bigg Boss house went a little ugly when the remaining inmates - Rahul Mahajan, Raja Choudhury, Ashutosh Kaushik and Zulfi Syed staged protest and went ahead and even tried to escape from Bigg Boss. Why? According to them, the basic food items were not provided and they were without food for 1.5 days.

The protest started with normal slogans and bhajans and then it went to the extent of removing the mikes and sitting without mikes in the lawn. When still there was no response from Bigg Boss, all contestants went to break all the doors and let themselves loose out of Bigg Boss house. After discussions with Producers, the inmates finally agreed to go inside the house and Bigg Boss arranged food for all the inmates.

After 13 weeks of patience and tolerance, the inmates went ahead and broke all important rules to protest against Bigg Boss. Was this an outburst of the stress and anger accumulated over period of time? Was this just hunger? Shouldn’t there be any penalty? Shouldn’t all be evicted out of the house and the last evicted contestant declared winner? Have your say!

Madhur Bhandarkar’s ambitious project ‘Fashion’ did pretty well at the box-office. The cast and crew of the movie along with many other sizzling Bollywood personalities celebrated the success of the film at the bash held at Vie Lounge, Juhu, Mumbai, last Friday Nite.
