Aishwarya and Abhishek are shooting for Mani Ratnam’s Ravana in the deep jungle of Kochi. Shooting in a situation where poisonous snakes and leeches move around is a tough job indeed. On the first day of the shoot, Aishwarya was bitten by a leech; she came to know about the bite only when she started bleeding. Apart from leeches, snakes also infested the jungles. Source says, “There were seven to eight foot long snakes that would be present on the sets. Mani had got a local snake catcher who would protect the crew from any poisonous reptiles”. |
