Not many may have noticed but when Kareena Kapoor lands up in Leh-Ladakh to shoot for Raju Hirani’s 3 Idiots, it will be her third visit in less than two years to the hills of North India. Her last two visits were very action packed and fruitful.
Just to recall, it was during the first half of year 2007 that Kareena was in Himachal Pradesh (we brought you exclusives of that!) along with Shahid Kapoor for Imtiaz Ali’s super-hit, Jab We Met. The second half of the year saw Kareena returning to the neighbouring Leh-Ladakh with Chhote Nawab, Saif Ali Khan for Yash Raj’s failed project, Tashan. It was in this exotic land of Lamas that the friendship between Saif and Kareena blossomed.Kareena’s latest venture, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 3 Idiots, is already underway as the first shot was canned in an aircraft on Madhavan last month end. The next spell of 20 days will be at Ladakh and will see the leading lady Kareena Kapoor returning to the exotic land with none other than her self-confessed childhood crush Aamir Khan. |

Fans of Shahid Kapoor are in for a surprise! Vishal Bharadwaj’s Kaminay has the actor in a character that’s completely opposite his chocolate boy image. “ Kaminay is a typical Vishal Bharadwaj brand of cinema. The characters are devoid of any glamour. Even the locations are rustic and hard hitting. Shahid has a look of a guy who is absolutely raw, hard and tough. It is in complete contrast to the image that he has build up through films like Vivah, Jab We Met and Kismat Konnection . Vishal has brought out Shahid’s intensity and integrity as an actor,” says a friend of the actor.
The film has been shot in a moving train from Goregoan Station to Churchgate, Wadi Bunder and Kandivali Junkyard and also many locations in Pune such as Pune Race Course, S P College, Air Force Colony in Lonavla, etc. |
