The above mentioned line might just pass off as ‘mere words’ to many, but for today’s Birthday girl Lara Dutta, it is the way of life, for she is the one who lives by the saying ‘God gives every bird his worm, but he does not throw it into the nest’.

For starters, it was actually Lara’s decision of moving to Mumbai from her hometown Bangalore to pursue a career in modelling, that paved her way to become one of the ‘24-7 twinkling stars’ of the tinsel town.

The tinsel town is abuzz with rumors that the dimpled beauty Preity Zinta’s breakup with Ness Wadia. The couple has not been spotted together for quite sometime now. Preity has been seen at all the IPL events sans Ness.

Reports blame her link up with Vikram Chatwal for this breakup. However, Preity denies these rumors defiantly looking hurt and upset. She clarifies, “These rumors are in bad taste and completely baseless.

A wedding anniversary is a time for love and celebration. But not for Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan , who will be working on their second wedding anniversary on April 20.

According to reports, the couple had planned a quiet day with a small get-together with parents Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan . But little did they know that their Mani Sir (read Mani Ratnam ) had other plans chalked out for the day.

Ratnam, reportedly, was in no mood to slacken the ongoing shooting schedule of his Ravana in the south and had planned a shoot for April 20 for both Ash and Abhi. As the schedule can’t be delayed, the husband-wife duo cordially agreed to work on their second wedding anniversary.

So there’s going to be no celebration, no family get-together for Ash and Abhi as they mark two years of their life has husband and wife. However, the big consolation is that they would be together on the special day.

‘Ravana’ is a modern-day adaptation of epic ‘Ramayana’. This bilingual movie, to be made in Hindi and Tamil, has south star Vikram playing one of the leads.

Recently, Abhi-Ash also signed Ritesh Sidhwani ’s spy-thriller ‘Crooked’ to be made on the lines of ‘The Bourne Identity’. The movie is set to roll soon and also features Boman Irani , Gul Panag and Jimmy Shergill .
