In the midst of all the push and pull, which was happening around the final set of Bollywood movies eyeing for a Diwali slot, Salman Khan and Preity Zinta’s Heroes has taken the lead. The movie is all set to ar rive on 24th October. However, contrary to popular misconception, Salman and Sohail are not seen as brothers in Heroes. They play absolute strangers in the movie with Salman playing the part of a Sikh army officer while Sohail enacts the role of a youngster who is on a motorcycle trip with his friend (Vatsal Seth). Priety Zinta plays the role of Salman Khan’s Punjabi wife.

Bollywood’s pretty lady Preity Zinta was literally slapped by a co-star while rehearsing for Deepa Mehta’s upcoming flick ‘Heaven on Earth’. The actress claims that she stood speechless in front of the whole crew and could barely utter a word. In an interview to a news daily, Preity said “It was a very tense shot, and I was nervous and so was the new actor [Vansh Bhardwaj], who plays my abusive husband. He gave me one phtaak, and for a moment or two, I felt like a train, a submarine and a plane rushing through my mind.””All the preparation I had done went away,” she continued. “I found it very humiliating the way I had reacted.
Everyone had seen me falling [as an actress] and they had also seen me going blank.”However, the actress after spending a few minutes in her vanity van, composed herself, “Of course, when I came out I went straight to the actor and told him the next time he does something like that, I would kill him”, adds Preity. Well so that’s the one-tight-slap the pretty lady can never forget! |
